One of my friends did updates like this for her pregnancy and I thought it was a fun idea!
How far along: 17 weeks
Size of the baby: Turnip (5 ounces and 5 inches long)
Maternity Clothes: I would have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with maternity clothes at this point. On one hand, they are so comfortable and they have a better selection of cute tops and dresses than I expected. On the other, I am still holding my pants together with a hairband and bella band, but hey, it's working and keeping me sane until I have to be in maternity clothes 24/7. I am embracing my new curves but cant wait to get back in shape!
Cravings: Jalapenos, milk and if someone mentions a food item, doesnt matter what it is, I instantly have to have it.
Symptoms: A little headache here and there but overall, I feel pretty awesome.
Movement: Nothing yet, that I can tell
Gender predictions: We went to the doctor at 13 weeks to test for Nuchal Translucency and the doctor was able to tell us at 95% certainty that IT'S A BOY! We are so thrilled and Austin is over the moon about having a little buddy to take hunting and fishing...you know, all the guy stuff, especially someone to ride along in the golf cart.
We are looking forward to our 20 week appointment next month to see the baby again. We start all of our birthing classes next month, which will definitely make this more of a reality for both of us. Sometimes Austin forgets that I am pregnant and I am just thinking...Are you serious? You cant see this baby bump???
Bump pictures coming soon!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas.....
I think my whole family was dreaming of a white Christmas this year and all that dreaming brought us a blizzard!
We had such a fun time in NYC for Christmas this year. Not your tradition Christmas, but it is a trip that we will remember for a lifetime. We have so many fun memories and couldn't have dreamed up a better Christmas!
Austin and I took the adventurous route and turned New York upside within the first 3days! We enjoyed a helicopter ride overlooking the Hudson. It was Amazing. Toured Wall Street, Top of the Rock, SOHO and Nolitta. We loved eating at all the amazing places NY has to offer, Balthazar, The Plaza just to name a few. We also took in the Nutcracker, Wicked and The Rockettes.
Welcome to New York - Where dreams are made of....

Our room at the Michelanglo. It was beautiful

First Night out at Radio City and the start of the Irish Pub Tours...

We hope to complete this post sometime soon, but we just bought a MAC and are in the process of transferring everything (including pics) Will update soon though!

Nola - You did us good!
I love when all the Thetas get together and let it all loose! haha! We had a great girls weekend in NOLA celebrating our Theta sister, Elizabeth's, bachelorette party! It was the first time to visit for some and others, it was an old hat with new tricks.
We danced the nights away and ate all the Nawlins food we could handle! We had so much fun! I can't wait to see everyone in January!!! Miss yall already!

Giving Thanks 2x
You would think it would be easy to celebrate the holidays when your families both live in the same town, but it is a detailed and strategic plan from start to finish with no relaxing in between, but we wouldn't change it for anything. It's the best of both worlds and we are fortunate enough to be able to see both families during the holidays.
We had a lovely time at the Trantham's and the Matthys' for Thanksgiving. The food was fabulous all around, we were stuffed to maximum capacity. We enjoyed catching up with everyone and taking in a game or two or three of football!
Austin did the honors of carving the turkey.

We got to see the new puppies for the first time, Juno and Dottie. They are presh!

Cousin Claire and Richard
